The activity can be utilised to explore different ways of preparing, cutting and presenting fruit and vegetables with your little one.

The intention is to do this activity together, involving yourself in the process as you test different foods.

Remember to react positively to each new food when you try it, mirroring that the food is tasty to your child!

METHOD:
1.) Select 6 different foods with differing textures, smells and flavours
2.) Grab some boxes that you can stick your hand into (or think of a creative way to hide the food so you cannot see them), and label from 1-6
3.) Select 5 different foods with differing flavours, and plate them with corresponding labels
4.) With your little one, go through each box and ask what they can smell or feel, and to draw it in the boxes of the worksheet
5.) After you have done all 6, move to the tasting plates and ask your little one to circle which of the plates they liked the flavour of.
