Selby Community House has partnered with Selby CFA to ensure our community is prepared and resilient in the face of the next natural disaster.
Within this term’s program, you will find the last two pages include a basic template for building your own emergency plan!
You are also invited to enjoy a free dinner event in which the CFA will assist in the preparation of your plan, and answer any questions you might have.

They have been developed by the Red Cross, Vic Ses and the Yarra Ranges coumcil.
Each document can be used in collaboration with one another for best results.
This documentary reflects upon the birth of one of Australia’s very first community Houses; Selby.
With interviews, stories, reflections and historical photography, the documentary outlines the becoming of our incredible community house.
We are incredibly grateful to the Tadji and Lia Hills, the Yarra Ranges Council and all members that made this documentary a reality!
We are a hidden gem within the Yarra Ranges, however we are easy to find and worth the adventure!

Step back in time at Australia’s oldest and best-preserved heritage steam railway, Puffing Billy, situated in the picturesque Dandenong Ranges and only 60-minutes from Melbourne CBD.
